The colon plays a most important role in maintaining our health. It is one of the most intelligent organs in the body. The walls of the colon re-absorb water and necessary items and eliminate those that are not needed. Therefore the colon is not just a simple rubber hose - it is constantly working to maintain optimal body function. We know it is not happy when either we are constipated or we have diarrhea. Ir even worse we get cramping and pain. It is calling for help. Some of the simple things that we can do to keep the colon happy are: 1. provide it with good quality beneficial bacteria. and 2.
