cholesterol
Elevated cholesterol is a common concern of many. The allopathic answer is "statin" drugs with their many toxic side effects. However there is be a different way to look at elevated cholesterol. Cholesterol is a four ringed organic compound that is converted in the liver to testosterone and as we age and our liver gets sluggish the cholesterol no longer get converted efficiently into necessary by-products. So there is a back-up and cholesterol levels go up.
So really it is a digestive disorder. What needs to be addressed is diet but not in the conventional sense of eliminating food that are high in cholesterol but look at which food would encourage the body to process our food to good product. What food or medicinal culinary spices would encourage the liver to work as nature intended. All the food we eat or drugs we take are first passed via the portal vein through the liver. The liver then detoxes the unnecessary toxins and take the good food that we eat and turns it into intelligent blood which then nourishes all our organs and cells and nerves and every little bit of us. So the importance of this vital organ cannot be overlooked.
Also we need to look at eating non-processed food and reducing the load or toxins on the liver. Food that is fresh and vital and not left over and nuked in the micro wave. Food that has been prepared by a loving heart that is full of light. Also if you read previous postings you will find which foods to eliminate which block bioenergetic channels in our body and prevent pranic flow.
There are some herbs that are particularly beneficial to liver health. Turmeric is one such sacred herb. It is best used if cooked into the food with a bit of ghee or good quality oil. Adding some coriander, cumin and fennel is also beneficial to help eliminate toxins and transform the food into good product.
So this is where I would start if addressing the problem of elevated cholesterol.
More to come.
